UPDATE: REOPENING OF CREEKSIDE EAST AMENITIES
TUESDAY, JUNE 15TH
June 3, 2021 - Community Pool & Tennis Court Updates
The HOA Board met on June 2nd and voted to reopen the pools on June 15, which is the same date the State of California COVID-19 reopening is scheduled to take place. This time frame in reopening will allow for pool 2 to be cleaned, furniture to be cleaned and placed on decking, pool monitor schedule change and hiring of pool monitors for pool 2. Only Pool 1 and 2 will reopen. Pool 3 will remain closed do to a safety issue with cement decking. Management is working on getting bids to repair the decking and once repairs are completed Pool 3 will reopen.
->The pool reservation system and waiver sign in at Pool 1 will remain in place until June 14th. The reservation system will be deactivated on June 15th.
->CAPACITY of 40 people at Pool 1 will remain in place until June 14th and revert to full pool capacity on June 15th.
->Pool #1 and Pool #2 will reopen on June 15th - 7 days a wk. (Mon.-Sun.) from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at full capacity.
->Safety signage for COVID-19 will remain in place to remind residents to honor social distancing for others using the pool area.
->Residents will still be required to sign in when entering the pool when pool monitors are on duty.
->All pool rules are to be followed. NO inflatable floating devices will be allowed in the pool or pool area to prevent overcrowding in pool and allow for a more pleasurable swim for all residents.

DECEMBER 2020 TO MARCH 2021
- Pool hours will remain from 10:00AM to 7:00PM until further notice.
- Pool and Tennis reservations and waiver sign-in at pool will continue. Guests are allowed (up to 4 accompanied by an adult resident with a Pool ID.
- Pool Monitors and Patrol Officers continue to monitor Pool #1 from 10AM to 7PM
- Pool 2 & 3 remain closed until further notice
- All other recreational areas will be open (with conditions posted); this includes the park areas, playgrounds, volleyball court, and tennis courts.
NOVEMBER 24, 2020
- Pool and Tennis reservations will continue. Guests are allowed (up to 4 guests accompanied by an adult community resident with a Pool ID).
- Pool 1 will be monitored by pool monitors & patrol officers from 10:00AM to 7:00PM
- Pool 2 & 3 will continue to remain closed
- Pool hours at Pool 1 during the month of DECEMBER will be from 10:00AM to 7:00PM /Monday-Sunday. Pool Area and restrooms will close at 7:00 PM daily.
- Playgrounds and Picnic Areas will remain open ( please follow posted guidelines ).

AUGUST 10, 2020
POOL SAFETY PLAN & TEMPORARY RULES remain in place due to COVID-19.
POOL 1 - Continues to be on a reservation system, open Monday-Sunday from 8:30am to 10pm with 7 swim session of 1 1/2 hrs. each, and up to 40 residents per swim session. Pools are closed between swim session for 30 min. to sanitize furniture, doors and restrooms. Use of pool continues to be restricted to residents only.
SPA - at pool 1 is open for residents. Limited to 1 household or 1 person at a time to abide with social distancing. Use of spa is limited to 15-20 min. to provide use for other residents.
TENNIS COURTS - at pool 1 are open with reservations. The same reservation system is used to book court date and time.
PLAYGROUNDS, VOLLEYBALL COURT and PARK AREAS are still closed.

POOL REOPENING UPDATE JUNE 14th CREEKSIDE EAST
Creekside East Residents,
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is finally allowing Counties to move into STAGE 3, which means pools can open if boards post a SAFE REOPENING PLAN that shows conformance to the requirements of California "Industry Guidance on Fitness Facilities".
Although the County gave orders that pools could be reopened at the end of May, there was confusion in "private " vs "public" pools. HOA pools have in the past been designated as public pools by the County and follow guidelines and licensing as such. To get around the order, some Counties redefined HOA pools as private and allowed them to open. Others simply ignored the State and gave permission for HOA's to open their pools. This created potential liability for Associations because the State deemed HOA pools as "public" and set to open in Stage 3.
The GOOD NEWS is a "Safe Reopening Plan" is being finalized and procedures for making online reservations is its final stages of development. The reopening of pool #1 at 2801 Lytle Creek Loop, is expected to happen on either Friday, June 19th or Saturday, June 20th. Information will be available soon via social media (creeksideeast.com website, Creekside East Exchange Facebook page, Nextdoor/Creekside East). The Safe Reopening Plan and Rules & Procedures will also be posted on Community bulletin boards and mailed out with billing. The reopening of pool #2 at 3835 Lytle Creek Loop is expected to happen on either Friday, June 26th or Saturday, June 27th. More information to be provided.
Thank you to all residents who provided input on the reopening of pools. Also, thank you to those who chose an option for accessing pool swim sessions. Based on the input received a RESERVATION system was selected.
The process of closing & opening of pools and other Community amenities has been a new and challenging task for all involved. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process as the Creekside East Board and Precise Management work together to reopen the HOA pools in a safe and orderly fashion. Thanks also the our sister Community, Creekside West, for help in brainstorming the safe reopening of Community Pools.

Creekside Residents:
The County of San Bernardino approved the reopening of HOA pools if they comply with COVID -compliance guidelines, especially in regards to avoiding large crowds, regular disinfecting high touch surfaces and not using pool when sick. Also included is reducing capacity of pool facility and 6ft distancing.
The plan is to reopen pool 1 (large pool) first and then pool 2. A tentative timeline to reopen Pool 1 is mid June. Because the reopening of pools takes into consideration the safety of all residents, your input is being requested to help finalize the plans.
The pool capacity at Pool #1 will be reduced to 25% (30 people at one time) and swim time will be 1 1/2hrs time slots allowing 30 min between swim times to clean. Only residents will be admitted at this time, NO GUESTS.
There are two options proposed to set up times for residents to swim:
1) "first come first serve"- line up and the first 30 in line will be admitted for a swim time of 1 1/2hr.
2) make reservations for a specific day and time for a 1 1/2hr swim.

While the reopening of community pools was approved by the County of San Bernardino there are guidelines that still need to be in place for the safety and health of community residents to prevent the spread of COVID19. The Board reviewed a draft reopening plan for community pools last night at the HOA June Board Meeting. The plan is to open pool 1 (large pool) first. Revisions are currently being made and will be submitted to Precise Management for distribution to homeowners soon. A tentative timeline to reopen was mentioned as mid June. Some items guiding the plan include social distancing and frequent sanitizing of high touch areas. The plan will address pool occupancy, pool monitors, pool hours, a sanitizing plan for high touch areas including restrooms and signage to post at pool areas. JUNE 3rd
A plan for reopening of pools is being developed and will be reviewed at the June 3rd Teleconference Board Meeting @ 6:30 pm. Homeowner comment will be the first 20 minutes of the meeting from 6:30pm to 6:50pm (3 min allotted for comment).
